The leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario and Ontario's Leader of the Official Opposition Patrick Brown visited Fairchild TV and brought moon cake to celebrate the Mid Autumn festival.
In the interview with him, he talked about the federal government tax reform, the Ontario government raising the minimum hourly salary in the short term all making it a difficult environment for small businesses... he also mentioned Ontario Progressive Conservative Party Congress will be held in November this year to absorb party members in order to better serve the people.

The Mon Sheong Telethon 2017 is going to be held on Sunday September 10 at 8:10 p.m., nationally broadcast on Fairchild TV. Project Boyz Power Toronto Final 2017 is organized by Fairchild Television and Hong Kong TVB, co-organized by Talentvision, Fairchild Radio, and Popular Lifestyle & Entertainment Magazine, was successfully held on July 30th at John Bassett Theatre. #2 Bernard Wang won the coveted champion in Toronto Final, #6 Ernest Hans Chan placed 1st Runner Up, and #5 Steven Ho earned 2nd Runner Up. #7 Stephen Cheung was awarded with “The Most Creative Fans Award” with the endless supports from his friends.
Project Boyz Power Toronto is the platform to stardom for young male talents, scouting the hottest men in town with unique character. Providing exclusive trainings and makeovers, a great stepping stone for the entertainment industry. Hong Kong TVB worked closely with Fairchild TV, seeking to cast new talents. Deputy General Manager (Legal and International Operations) Television Broadcasts Limited Mr. Desmond Chan also made a special trip to Toronto and served as the prize presenter. The Show was live telecast for viewers who has TVB Anywhere and that viewers can see no matter where they are. The panel of judges consists of renown martial arts artist Mr. Pai Piao, famous signer Ms. Angela Fong, and media and film veteran Mr. Ricky Chan. Official auditor is Alexis Yam, CA. Emcees of the evening are acclaimed local TV and radio host Chung-Ming Poon and Ting-Pong Chan.
Catwalk segment strongly showcased each finalist with their unique personality paired with the latest designer fashion. Image Director of Project Boyz Power Toronto 2017 Jay is also a well-known and highly respected hat designer in Hong Kong fashion industry. She transforms pieces of traditional hat into modern sculptured hat pieces for each of the boyz. Bringing the distinctive pieces to the fashion show, express different temperament of the finalists.
There are various qualities of all-rounded artist, the physical capability is one of it. The boyz were formed in groups, competing each other for body balance, coordination and agility.
Talent competition is one of the most expected segment of the Final, the seven finalists have unparalleled confidence showcasing their killer expertise.
At the acting challenge segment, the finalists were divided into two groups, re-enactment TVB popular dramas series “House of Spirits” and “My Lover from the Planet Meow”. Plots, characters were carefully chosen and dialogue was vigilantly customized to fit in each finalist’s personality.
The finalists were very domineering, showcasing nunchaku Kung Fu.
Friends and family of the finalists were well prepared to cheer for them as well, and strived to win the “Most Creative Fans Award”. Many of cheering tactics including creative dance, rap, flip somersault, singing, family cheering, friends marching drums, tennis movements and more, soared the evening on another high point.
The most anticipated male talent show Project Boyz Power Toronto 2017 was held with a colossal success. Champion #2 Bernard Wang will be going back to Hong Kong, chance of becoming the next rising star of Hong Kong TVB.

After two months of comprehensive trainings and image transformations, the seven finalists have their first public debut at “Up Close with Project Boyz Power Toronto” at First Markham Place on Saturday July 15th 7:30pm to meet the audiences and fans.
“Up Close with Project Boyz Power Toronto” is the only public appearance for the boyz until the Final, and it’s also their first time showcasing themselves on stage. The seven finalists each walk down to the runway featuring sports fashion, Korean fashion, and also the new line from fashion designer Xian Wang.
Designer Xian’s collection brings a distinctive element delivering a sense of individuality in his accessible fashion-forward pieces deviating from the mainstream. Bold, edgy, and audacious. It was also showcased in this year’s Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM). The strong catwalk created the powerful aura. The highlight of “Up Close with Project Boyz Power Toronto” is of course the interactive games segment with the seven finalists. The interactive game competitions attracted lot of fans to participate. The boy each paired with one audience, together to accomplish the game. To express the thankfulness to their supporting audience, the seven boyz each gave out a set of Project Boyz Power Toronto Final admissions.
Meanwhile having fun with fans, the winner of Most Popular Online Award is also well anticipated by everyone. Excitingly, the MC revealed the result, #1 Christopher Dan won the Most Popular Online Award with the most votes.
During the chit-chat, the boyz shared their feelings of the past two months. They expressed time went by so fast, couln’t believe that the Final is in two weeks! They all faced challenges during the trainings and preparations for the Final, but they also learnt new things from this journey. They are thankful to be a part of this precious opportunity. They will undoubtedly go all out to show their best in the Final to win the golden opportunity in becoming TVB artist. “Up Close with Project Boyz Power Toronto” is also the first event ever that the organizer utilized Facebook live to connect with communities online, hosted by Project Boyz Power Toronto 2016 finalist Heily Chong. The event live brought different views of the event including sneak- peak at the backstage and lively interaction with the audiences, attracted quite a lot of fans who cannot make it in person to watch the show online. Richard Wong, Best Vocal of 2014 New Talent Singing Award was the guest performer of the night and sang two lovely songs.

What's On interview with Freeyon Chung:
Freeyon has never stop chasing his dream. He was one of the eight finalists in 2013 New Talent Singing Awards Toronto, he is Keen to host, sing and perform. He also won the title of Project Boyz Power Toronto Champion in 2016.
He also represented Toronto to participate in Mr. Hong Kong 2016; he placed 2nd runner up. Shortly after, he was signed with Hong Kong TVB, officially became an artist. He has been involved in large and small events and performances over the past years, striving for every opportunity and a step closer to his dream.
This time, he is back to resign on his job, say goodbye to the old colleagues, and give some tips to "The Boyz". He expressed that the contests he joined in the past years provided him once in a lifetime experience. It was not only a superb platform for young adults want to be successful in the entertainment industry but also the first dais to get to know more and see things outside of our ordinary routines. Freeyon, he is the perfect example! Hewishes the boyz all the very best, and hope to see them in Hong Kong!

After a weekend of auditions and the re-screening of the jury, the finalists of Project Boyz Power Toronto 2017 have finally been selected.
Seven young men broke through the tight competitions among all the applicants. Today the finalists came to Fairchild TV for the contract signing ceremony; Lawyer Max’s carefully explained the contract and notarization. They have now official begun their journey of Project Boyz Power Toronto 2017!
They will receive an image makeover and a series of training, including catwalk, dance, kung fu, fitness, acting, public speaking and more. Fairchild TV Canada East Assistant General Manager Ms. Connie Sephton also welcomed each of the finalists today and encouraged them to do their best. Stay tuned for their transformations!

Three finalists from Project Boyz Power Toronto 2016 had won four out of the five awards in last year《Mr. Hong Kong》contest. Karl Ting titled the 1st runner up and Mr. Photogenic award, Freeyon Chung won the 2nd runner up, and Christian Yeung won the title of Mr. Friendship. Shortly after, Karl and Freeyon are offered to sign with TVB Hong Kong with an artist contract. They are now TVB artists, a dream comes true.
Karl also got to hosts varies programs.
Recently, Karl casted as one of the program hosts in the new program called “Easy Come, Easy Health”, starring with Wayne Lai, Chris Lai and Bonnie Chan (Miss Hong Kong 2016- 2nd runner up, Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant 2013- 1st Runner up). “Easy Come, Easy Health” is now airing in Hong Kong, a program demonstrating how to achieve different healthy lifestyles.
This program will also be airing on Fairchild TV 2HD starting April 17th, 2017 from Monday to Friday at 7 p.m.

The most anticipated event TVB Fairchild Fans Party brought a new cast of hottest artists to Toronto this year. Including the charismatic Ben Wong and Raymond Wong, along with the beautiful and beloved Grace Chan and Rosina Lam, sharing their first ever Fans Party event with Fairchild audiences.
The event is organized by Fairchild TV, the four artists spent a fun-filled night together with their fans on April 9th at John Bassett Theater.
The party began with the dramas theme songs which featured by the four artists have deeply rooted in their fans heart.
MCs Poon Sir and Yiu-Yiu first introduced Raymond Wong whom are familiar by lots of audiences watching his latest drama 《Married But Available》. He heated up the atmosphere with the upbeat songs to the fans.
Miss Hong Kong and Miss Chinese International from Vancouver, Grace Chan, she was thrilled to return home and seeing lots of fans and supporters.
Ben Wong whom played a good father and a good husband role in《Tiger Mom Blues》, gained recognition overtime.
MCs welcomed Rosina Lam whom is also much anticipated by fans. Toronto fans are very lucky to meet her at the Fans Party stage since she has officially cut down her production with TVB.
Each of the four stars walked down around the stage the audiences flocked over to them to take selfies, the artist handing out TVB souvenirs, pausing here and there to shake hands and take photos, causing a stir amongst fans.
Aside from the artists’ performances, interactions with audiences are always the highlights of the Fans Party.
Audiences who watched Fairchild TV must be familiar with the game "Good Morning Sir". Grace's got a very strong teammate this time, and achieved an unbeatable scrore, become a big winner in this game. In the meantime, Raymond and Ben tried to throw things out from the backpack, but kept failing. Draw a lot of laughter and cherring from the audience. It was full of entertainment.
After an evening with full of laughter and gifts, few lucky fans were chosen to take a group selfie with stars on stage and audience together, marking a beautiful end to another great Fans Party.
Lots of fans are still wiaitng for photo opprtunities with the artists after the event, the four artists showed their charisma and fullfilled thier fans' wishes.

The most anticipated event TVB Fairchild Fans Party is bringing the hottest artists to Toronto this year including the charismatic Ben Wong and Raymond Wong, along with the beautiful and beloved Grace Chan and Rosina Lam, to join the annual TVB Fairchild Fans Party. Many fans gathered at First Markham Place hours in advance to secure a prime spot to meet their favorite artists.
Raymond Wong were introduced first to greet his local fans. In his latest drama 《Married But Available》, he played a young CEO name "Lucas ", a strong character with ambitions. This role helped him attracted more fans and followers. Fans also noticed that his look is slightly different from the drama, he explained his new hair style is for his upcoming piece《The Forgotten Valley》. He also talked about various roles he played and the challenges he faced preparing for his new dramas releasing in 2017 including《Bet Hur》and 《The Forgotten Valley》.
Grace Chan has started her career from winning the titles of Miss Hong Kong and Miss Chinese International. Her exceptional beauty, intelligence, and outstanding performance helped her grow fast in the industry and obtained lots of fans base.
Grace thank the continuous support from fans. She is very happy to be back in Canada, not only meeting and playing games with fans in “TVB Fairchild Fans Party”, she is also very excited to see her family and friends in Vancouver. Within three years, Grace already took on the leading roles in various dramas, her performance in 《Blue Veins》was highly acclaimed followed by another breakthrough in the hit drama series 《Brother's Keeper II》. She also introduced her new drama partnered with Raymond Wong《The Forgotten Valley》 and upcoming drama 《Birth of A Hero》.
Among the four, Ben Wong is the most experienced. In 2014 Ben finally made his way to the leading role and gradually gained recognition. In 《Tiger Mom Blues》, he played a good husband and good father, he caused a lot of sympathy for the audiences. During the broadcast in Hong Kong, it won lots of supporters and viewers, the highest ratings recorded 31 points. Ben talked about many of the characters he played before, and introduced his new dramas to the audiences including his partnership with Grace Chan in 《Birth of A Hero》.
Last but not least, fans are very excited and anticipated to see Rosina Lam, welcomed her with lots of cheering and screaming.
Rosina expressed that she is happy to have this chance meeting many fans in Toronto. In her recent dramas, Rosina showcased her vivid acting talent, as she brought to life two totally opposite characters, including “Fa Ying-yuet” in 《Momentary Lapse of Reason》, a self-centered and money-loving amorous courtesan, and “Kam Dai-nam” in 《Short End of the Stick》, a tough tomboy. This year, she took on another challenge as “Win Jeh”in 《Burning Hands》, a mahjong swindler and “Mahjong Queen”, has built up lots of fans and supporters.
The four artists then drew four lucky fans to take picture with and get the most sought-after “not for sale” tickets to TVB Fairchild Fans Party 2017.
Assistant General Manager (East) of Fairchild Television, Ms. Connie Sephton presented the artistes with a Canadian souvenir and wished them success at the show.
The last and most anticipated segment of the press conference was of course the autograph session. The four stars personally signed autographs for each fan, marking the perfect ending to the event.
