Styling Supervisor – Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant (Project based)Fairchild Television is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Styling Supervisor to join the promotion team of the Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant, one of the most prestigious and long-standing beauty pageants in the global Chinese community. This role is integral to overseeing the overall image and styling of the contestants, ensuring each participant presents her most confident and polished self throughout the competition.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the styling strategy for all contestants, including wardrobe, hair, makeup, and grooming
- Provide professional image consulting based on individual contestant profiles, including body type, personality, and style preferences
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure all visual elements align with the pageant’s creative direction
- Lead the styling team through all phases of the pageant, including photo and promo shoots, promotional events, rehearsals, and the final show
- Offer ongoing styling advice and mentorship to contestants to enhance their stage presence and public appearance
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in fashion styling, image consulting, fashion design, or a related field
- Minimum of three years' experience in styling for fashion shows, beauty pageants, photo shoots, or television production
- Strong aesthetic sense with demonstrated expertise in wardrobe coordination, color theory, and visual styling
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet production deadlines
- Familiarity with Chinese culture and bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset

Engineering Technician (Part time)Duties
- Perform technical operation on broadcast and production equipment
- Provide equipment installation and maintenance
- Available for shift duty and flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- with Certificate in Electronic / Electrical / Mechanics or relevant discipline
- Relevant working experience in electronic media is a plus
- Knowledge of operating / maintenance of TV broadcasting equipments and systems is preferred
- Able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs and above
