Metaphysicist Chong Yat-sun (Wayne Lai) sets up an online channel and uses the story of a young woman called Wong Sau-yi (Carmen Ngai), who was allegedly possessed by spirits and passed out, to create hype. Moreover, Yat-sun recruits fraud-busting internet celebrity But Ping (Katy Kung) and photographer Ko Man-bun (Karl Ting). And together with Sau-yi, an exploration team is formed to look into a series of strange and bizarre people and events! But Ping despises Yat-sun for using some cult nonsense for spreading superstition. In her capacity as his colleague, she wants to expose his shenanigans and engage him in a battle of wits and strength. Meanwhile, Yat-sun offers his services to an upper-class lady called Madam Kim (Strawberry Yeung) and promises to help her locate her mysteriously missing son. Feng shui master Lung Kwai (Andrew Yuen), whom she deeply trusts, has been searching for a long time but to no avail. Madam Kim eventually decides to ask Yat-sun for help as she becomes suspicious.
