Every spring, the highly anticipated “TVB Fairchild Fans Party” brings TVB’s most popular stars across thousands of miles for an up-close and unforgettable experience with Canadian fans. This year, we are thrilled to welcome four powerhouse vocalists from Midlife, Sing & Shine! Season 1 and 2—FC Tam, Miranda Li, Stacey Long, and Ryan Lau—to Vancouver and Toronto! Get ready for breathtaking live performances, interactive games, and exclusive giveaways!
FC Tam discovered his passion for singing at a young age. In 2023, he took a leap of faith and joined “Midlife, Sing & Shine” as an amateur contestant. His exceptional talent quickly made waves, earning a perfect 5-light score in the first round and consistently scoring over 80 points in every stage. He was crowned MVP four times, the most in the season, and ultimately secured 1st Runner-up with the highest overall score. He also won the "Audience's Favorite Voice" Award, amassing a massive fanbase. Within just two months of his debut, he held his first solo concert, “Tam Fai Chi Fight For You Live”, becoming the first contestant of his season to do so. He later released his debut single,” How Grateful I Am”, capturing hearts with his soulful voice and moving performance.
Miranda Li grew up immersed in music and performance. She joined a television acting class at three and became a special guest performer in a theatre troupe at five. Her passion for music led her to formal vocal training in middle school, where she excelled in numerous singing competitions. In 2019, she established a music studio and released her original songs “Losing My Voice” and “Heart Demon”, dedicating herself to nurturing the next generation of artists. In 2022, she competed in “Midlife, Sing & Shine” and won 1st Runner-up with her distinctive voice and outstanding musicality. With her rising popularity, she was chosen to sing theme songs for major productions, including "Forgotten in the Mists” (ending theme for Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils), “TVB’s 2024 Paris Olympics Theme Song”. She also released her latest single, “One More Day to Forget You”, showcasing her versatility as an artist.
Stacey Long gained recognition as a talented busker in Hong Kong, impressing audiences with her renditions of Teresa Teng and Faye Wong classics, earning her the nickname "Little Dragon Girl of Mong Kok." In 2018, she held her first solo concert and released her debut single CD “All Is Well”. The following year, she won the Grand Championship on CCTV’s “Avenue of Stars”, one of China’s most prestigious talent competitions. In 2020, she took the stage at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, an honor reserved for top-tier performers. She also released a Hi-Fi album, “Especially for You”, further showcasing her refined vocal artistry. In 2022, she joined “Midlife, Sing & Shine”, finishing in 4th place and winning the "Audience's Favorite Voice" Award.
Ryan Lau rose to fame in 2009 as a contestant on the first season of “The Voice”, impressing with his stable vocal performance and commanding stage presence, earning him 5th place and the nickname "Captain Wai Wong." In 2010, he formed the popular boy group Super 4 alongside Hubert Wu, Fred Cheng, and Quinn Yuen. Their hit song “Supervoice” won the “TVB8 Mandarin Music on Demand Awards Presentation” – Best Newcomer Gold award. Over the years, he has lent his voice to various TV drama theme songs, including drama “When Lanes Merge” and “The other Truth”. In addition to music, he has been actively involved in television dramas, stage productions, and entrepreneurship. At one point, he stepped away from singing to pursue a business career but never lost his passion for music. He later founded a production company specializing in concert management. In recent years, he has made a remarkable comeback, holding multiple solo concerts, including “Rebirth Concert”, “Recover Concert”, and “Relaxing Concert”. In 2023, he showcased his rich musical experience on “Midlife, Sing & Shine”, making it to the Top 8 with high praise from both judges and audiences.
