Making her first visit to Canada, Kelly Fu began her career as a model in 2003 and gained recognition through “Hearts of Fencing”. In 2024, she impressed audiences with her role as “Chan San-san” in “No Room for Crime”, earning “Best Supporting Actress”award. In 2025, she further showcased her acting skills as psychologist “Yeung Tsz-fei” in “D.I.D12”, and received “Best Actress (Hong Kong Region)” at the “Asian Academy Creative Awards 2025”. She has also recently obtained a Gemologist certification, demonstrating her versatility. Kelly shared that she is excited to try Vancouver’s local delicacies, such as wild salmon and spot prawns, and expressed her gratitude to overseas fans, looking forward to interacting with them and giving away exclusive souvenirs.

Joey Law entered the industry after winning the Teen Division Championship in the “Mr. Hong Kong Pageant 2008” and became widely known for his role as “Ma Tsz-yan” in “Come Home Love”. In 2020, he took on his first leading role in “Hong Kong Love Stories”, earning critical acclaim. He also won the “Best Duet Gold Award” for the theme song “Against the Current” alongside Katy Kung, and later received the “Most Improved Male Artiste” award in 2021. In addition to acting, Joey is passionate about singing and recently impressed audiences by appearing as the “Lion King” in “Midlife, Sing & Shine 4”. He shared that he looks forward to reconnecting with friends during this trip and, most importantly, meeting fans and performing for them.

Returning to the Canadian stage, Moon Lau entered the industry after winning second runner-up in the “Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2013”. She gained popularity through various dramas and won “Malaysia’s Favourite TVB Actress” for her role in “The Beauty of War” in 2022. She first participated in “TVB Fairchild Fans Party” in Canada in 2024, connecting with fans up close. In 2025, she stars in four major dramas, including “Anonymous Signal”, “Prism Breaker”, “Heroes in White”, and “The Queen of Castle”, and also showcased her talents as “Catwoman” in “Midlife, Sing & Shine 4”. Moon expressed that returning to Canada feels like coming home, and she is delighted to see the passionate fans again. Despite her busy schedule, she hopes to spend time with friends and enjoy Vancouver’s beautiful weather.

Recently, a group of undergraduate and master’s students from a Chinese Program at the University of British Columbia visited Fairchild Television and Fairchild Radio for a tour and exchange session, gaining valuable insights into the daily operations and production processes of local television and broadcasting media.
During the visit, students toured the newsroom, production control rooms, and studios, observing firsthand how programs are produced and broadcast. They also stepped into the studio to experience a live recording environment, gaining a more comprehensive understanding of multimedia operations. Throughout the visit, students actively engaged in discussions, asking questions and learning more about career pathways and the practical aspects of working in the media industry.
This visit not only deepened students’ understanding of the local media landscape, but also sparked their interest in communications and content creation, further strengthening the connection between academia and the media industry.
