Elite Wealth Management Inc. Presents Frances Yip’s 50th Anniversary Charity Concert

Organizer: Top Line Entertainment Ltd
Co-organizer: Fairchild TV
Media Sponsor: Talentvision, Fairchild Radio, Popular and Lifestyle Entertainment Magazine

Being in the singing industry for 50 years is definitely not an easy achievement and to commemorate her 50th anniversary, Frances Yip had a charitable concert in Vancouver to share this accomplishment with her enthusiastic local fans.

In 1969, Frances participated in a TVB singing competition, Voice of the Night, and Joseph Koo gave a perfect score for her interpretation of the songs You Don't Have To Say You Love Me and Yesterday, making her the champion. In 1980, she released her first Cantonese track, the famous drama The Bund’s theme song by the same name. Frances was known to sing Cantonese covers and slow tempo English songs so her producer wanted to try a new approach by focusing heavily on the pronunciations. The outstanding lyrics and the overwhelming singing delivery made The Bund one of the most representative Cantonese songs. In addition, Frances also sang theme songs for The Legend of Wonder Lady and Beautiful Lady.

People can relive countless classic songs, revisit some video clips of her first concerts, and precious photos at Frances Yip’s 50th anniversary charitable concert. Antonio Arevalo Jr. will be taking on the responsibility as the music director.

Part of the concert proceeds will be donated to St. Paul’s Foundation to focus on the 3 major women’s health priorities: breast, heart and pregnancy. All tickets other than VIP tickets are $88.00 (plus handling fee) each and they are general admission at a first come first serve basis so purchase them now!
