Digital Content Producer (Part time)

The Digital Content Producer role is responsible for producing digital assets for Fairchild TV VOD platform. Candidates for this position should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, a dedication to quality assurance and the ability to follow work from inception to completion.

    Job duties

  • Produce  digital media assets and metadata as needed.
  • Manage content, design and development resources both internal and external.
  • Build and maintain a digital library of photo and video assets

    Qualification

  • Knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin, and English is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, digital media or equivalent education. Experience in digital production and development, including multimedia production and editing or related field is a plus.
  • Understanding digital video & audio formats
  • Proficiency with the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work any shift including weekends
  • Nice to have: Web design, PHP and SQL database.

IT Administrator

Requirements:

  • Acts as a primary responder for all IT incidents
  • Works with coworkers to diagnose and resolve IT-related issues
  • Perform corporate software updates
  • Maintains and administers a range of devices, operating systems and applications including but not limited to Windows, Desktops/Laptops/Servers, VOIP telephone system, paper copier
  • Works with management team & other employees to design and implement IT solutions based on business needs
  • Perform server/desktop system support, troubleshooting and maintenance functions
  • Control access to and authorization level of devices

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer networking and IT systems, internet security and data privacy.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid experience in database design methodologies and relational database architecture.
  • Must work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Excellent ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Trilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin & English

Camera Assistant

We are looking for a Camera Assistant for its Eastern Division located at Richmond Hill.

    Job duties and requirement:

  • Assembling, preparing and setting up equipment prior to filming as required;
  • Looking after the safety and basic maintenance of the camera and cables attached;
  • Monitoring audio level as required;
  • Assist to take up EFP and Studio filming as required;
  • Requiring to drive and carrying equipment;
  • Any other job assigned by supervisors.

    Required skills and qualifications:

  • Filming experience or related educational qualification preferred;
  • Response and working quickly, especially as timing are such an important factor;
  • Sense of being prepared to innovate and experiment with ideas;
  • Demonstrating a good awareness of health and safety issues.
  • Able to speak, Cantonese and English;
  • Must be holder of valid Ontario driver’s license;
  • Available for shift duty and flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
