2025 Chinese-CanadianRise for BC's Kids
The BC Children's Hospital Foundation's Caring for Kids Radiothon has carried over three decades of touching stories, uniting the charitable power of the Chinese community. This May, the campaign returns in a brand-new format, continuing its legacy of giving with a specially produced TV program.
Now in its 37th year, the Chinese community-led Caring for Kids Radiothon has raised over $24 million for BC Children's Hospital, bringing hope and vital support to countless young patients and their families. To further this mission, the Foundation has teamed up with Fairchild Television to present a four-part educational series that offers an in-depth look at the hospital's critical work and the direct impact of donations. The program features heartfelt stories from patient families, sharing their journeys of resilience and hope throughout treatment. It also showcases the hospital's latest medical advancements, ongoing research, and how donor contributions are helping to rewrite the futures of children in care. This year, donations will help fund a state-of-the-art high-resolution confocal microscope at BC Children's Hospital's Research Institute, enabling breakthroughs in tackling some of the most pressing child health challenges, including diabetes and pediatric cancer.
Through inspiring stories and expert insights, the Caring for Kids educational series aims to deepen public understanding of the hospital's mission and highlight the incredible impact of every act of generosity. We invite you to join us in bringing hope to children in need and shaping a brighter, healthier future for all.
