“The Music Must Go On Documentary”

The pandemic has had an enormous impact on the music industry and to music practitioners in Hong Kong. Spearheaded by “International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)”, “The Music Must Go On” project was launched at the end of last year with the mission to regain passion for music creation. Through the re-arrangement, production, and distribution of classic songs, this project strives to revitalize the recording industry while reflecting on the importance and influence of music produced in Hong Kong. “The Music Must Go On Documentary” is a chronicle of the project where industry leaders, singing artistes, professional musicians and producers will share their feelings and experiences throughout the journey. In light of the overwhelmingly positive responses from overseas, it especially features the involvement of Fairchild Radio in Canada.
