By means of incisive methodology, Forensic Science Division Senior Chemist Yu Sing-pak (Bosco Wong) gathers evidence. Hot-blooded policewoman Fok Bo-ying (Venus Wong) admires him. They develop a romantic relationship that cannot be deciphered by scientific calculations. Forensic Pathology Service Senior Medical Officer Fan Pui-ching (Jacky Cai) is cool and intelligent. Predicaments are overcome as rogue doctor Chun Hak-nam (Tony Hung) patiently stands by her. Regional Crime Unit Senior Inspector Tseng Ho-yin (Benjamin Yuen) is always tirelessly working. Ho-yin and slashie Tam Sin-man (Sisley Choi) support each other in the search for the truth. Faced with disappearing evidence, bewildering conundrums and cunning perpetrators, the forensic team are determined to seek justice for the living and redress injustice to the dead.
